You can now keep an eye on what’s happening at Claudelands Conference and Exhibition Centre through social media!
The Hamilton venue has just launched Twitter and Instagram accounts specifically for the business events audience. Its Twitter account @meet Claudelands will be used for connecting with others in the industry and telling its latest news, while its Instagram account Meet_Claudelands will be a channel for sharing stunning images of the venue and the business events taking place there.
Claudelands Business Development and Sales Manager Wendy Harrison says the team are excited to now have two social media channels dedicated to connecting with clients and peers in the business events industry.
“Social media is a space we’ve wanted to be active in for a while, as we have plenty going on here at Claudelands and within our region that we’re keen to share with others,” says Wendy.
“It’s great to now have Twitter and Instagram accounts up and running – I invite you to follow our profiles, connect with us and keep an eye on all the exciting stuff we have coming up.”
On the cards for Wendy this month is a trip across the Tasman for the AIME 2016 tradeshow in Melbourne. There she will be sharing a spot on the 100% Pure New Zealand stand with teammate Dawn Stewart, and Shayne Forrest and Maya Storey from Hobbiton ™ Movie Set.
“It will be the first time any of us have attended AIME so it’s going to be exciting to experience it and to be going over there representing the Hamilton and Waikato region,” she says.
“I’m expecting the trip will also provide plenty of inspiration and opportunities for Instagram photos and tweets, so keep an eye out for that!”
