Fiji bounces back for business events

Following the strong rebound of Fiji’s leisure sector which saw 15,117 Kiwi residents visit Fiji in June, making up 24.3% of international arrivals into Fiji, New Zealand companies have also begun to return to Fiji for their business events.

Tourism Fiji has responded to this demand with the appointment of Melissa Natawake  as Business Events & MICE Manager, based in Fiji. Melissa joins Tourism Fiji from Rosie Holidays one of Fiji’s top inbound tour operators. With a strong background in event management Melissa will play a important role in connecting with buyers from Fiji’s key markets, including New Zealand.

A high level of enquiry for 2023 means that companies considering Fiji for next year should be thinking about securing dates as soon as possible.Contact Tom Svensen in Tourism Fiji’s Auckland office or visit
