Fiji has reopened safely

Fiji’s borders opened on 1 December 21 and with NZ’s border restrictions starting to ease Fiji has been busy getting ready to welcome Kiwis back.

Kiwis visiting Fiji will still be welcomed with the same Bula smiles but they will notice a number of new travel requirements and health and safety protocols too.

In October 2020, Fiji adapted the Care Fiji Commitment (CFC), a World Health Organisation, World Travel & Tourism Council approved and Aspen Medical recognised standard of best practice health and safety measures for travel.

Your business can book and travel in confidence knowing that Fiji has robust protocols in place for the protection of international visitors as well as its locals. Every resort you interact with which is part of the CFC has a dedicated Wellness Ambassador ensuring the implementation of these measures and the commitment that 100% of their staff are fully vaccinated.

As well as the CFC, there’s a few steps that travellers need to be aware of when visiting Fiji. Some of these steps include being vaccinated against Covid-19, having a PCR or Rapid test before departure, as well as a Rapid test after two days of being in Fiji and having a minimum of three nights booked at a CFC certified accommodation provider.

These new entry requirements are being frequently reviewed and updated, for the most up to date information visit Traveling to Fiji. You may also find Fiji’s FAQ page helpful.

Say ‘Bula!’ to having your next business event, meeting or conference at one of Fiji’s 333 islands.
