Silverstream Retreat Conference & Event Venue has had a busy few months hosting a range of residential and day meetings. The mid-range facility, set on 42 acres just 30 minutes from Wellington’s CBD, suits clients from across the corporate, government and association spectrum.
Recent events have included the Green Party’s annual conference which required a corporate standard of conferencing requirements and a tailored menu of vegan and gluten-free cuisine. Roadshows, conferences and seminars from the hardware and energy sectors, industry training organisations and church groups have also been at Silverstream recently.
Originally built as a hospital for US Navy personnel during WWII, Silverstream Retreat Conference & Event Venue offers a range of meeting spaces – from the 260-delegate Rafters Room and the purpose-built Grasslands function centre to boardrooms and cosy lounge areas. Extras such as microphone, data projector and screen, intelligent lighting and multi-media sound system (depending on the room) are available at no additional charge.
Accommodation includes sunny apartments, twin share and recently refurbished rooms with fabulous garden and river views.
