Napier Conferences & Events on show at BEIA Conference

After being postponed three times prior, the 46th Business Event Industry Aotearoa (BEIA) AGM and Annual Conference last month was hosted by Napier Conferences & Events.

The three-day event saw 150 delegates enjoy all Napier Conferences & Events could offer, from spectacular views to the amazing ‘long lunch’ where room theming and in-house catering provided an insight into the team’s capabilities and the Hawke’s Bay region.

Conference and Events Manager, Jacqui D’Ath said it was great to kick back into gear and host a successful and well received event.

“As part of the conference, we hosted a Hawke’s Bay style ‘long lunch’ which was kept as a surprise for the delegates until the day.”

In-house caterers, Dish Foods, impressed guests with a line-up of beautifully presented gourmet local produce.

“The main affairs included a slow cooked beef cheek served with horseradish, creamy onion jam, merlot jus and chimichurri, as well as a decadent pork belly accompanied by pumpkin miso, black barley, pickled cranberries, pink onion & coriander.”

The cuisine was complemented by beautiful table settings and a luxurious ambience. Guests were welcomed with a Pineapple and Lime Giblet cocktail served in front of vintage convertible coupe “Connie” provided by Art Deco Trust. Guests were also treated to a performance from local artist Daniel Munroe who played throughout the duration of the lunch.
