New boutique hotel for Dunedin

Dunedin will add a new boutique hotel to its inventory when Ebb-Dunedin opens on 15 March.

A modernist building made primarily of concrete, steel and glass, Ebb-Dunedin takes its name from its historic location on the edge of the tidal flats of the Otago Harbour before the land was reclaimed.

Each level has its own distinct atrium lounge above covered internal gardens for guests to enjoy a drink or read a book, surrounded by the work of national artists exhibited on the walls.

The hotel also houses Ebb-Cafe that serves local and seasonal food by writer and chef Alison Lambert.
