An update from Invercargill Airport
Invercargill Airport’s end of year results at June 2023 recorded 375,000 passengers, up 15% on the previous record year ending June 2019. The flight schedule both into and out of Invercargill remains unimpacted from staffing and engineering issues within Air NZ.  Invercargill Airport is serviced by direct flights from Auckland five times a week, seven daily Christchurch flights and three daily Wellington flights. Stewart Island Flights also operates multiple daily flights out of Invercargill.
