Te Puia
Te Whakarewarewa is a powerful reminder of the earth’s natural force. It is home to the world famous Pohutu Geyser, silica terraces, bubbling mud and cooking pools. Our experts in wood carving, flax weaving, greenstone and cultural performance can be showcased as features of any events at Te Puia.
Te Whakaruruhau is a stylish new venue which is perfect for a welcome function or gala dinner. The large cobbled floor space allows for flexibility with placement of furniture, stages and theming. Te Whakaruruhau has a standing capacity of 400+ and a seated dining capacity of 250 people and is adjacent to the impressive entranceway and marae precinct; which instantly creates a powerful sense of our unique culture and purpose.
Te Puke a Ruahine has a seated and standing capacity of 80 and 120 people respectively. This marquee venue offers a spectacular view of the world famous Pohutu geyser and silica terrace. The ‘wow’ factor created by the geyser eruptions and our lighting system makes this a venue that is impossible to ignore.
Ngararatuatara is surrounded by native bush and is located in an exclusive corner of the geothermal valley. Guests can overlook the natural cooking pool which is used to cook their menu of fresh seafood and vegetables. This venue offers a more intimate setting, perfect for a function of up to 40 people for seated dining or 60 people standing.

The Redwoods
Surrounded by majestic Redwood trees planted in 1901, this unique and stunningly beautiful location offers a canopied open air all-weather function space.

The Blue Baths
Blue Baths is a heritage listed Bathhouse located in the Government Gardens. Originally opened in 1933, the art deco Blue Baths daringly offered mixed sex bathing for the first time in New Zealand. Now stylishly refurbished and the geothermally heated pools reopened, the building is also available for private events.
Tearoom
An elegant setting for an intimate dinner, cocktail party, seminar, product launch or wedding, The Tearoom enjoys all-day sun and splendid views across Government Gardens. With high totara beamed ceiling, ten sets of French doors, circular fan lights and sweeping art deco terrazzo staircase. 80 pax banquet, 130 pax cocktail.

The Lido Lounge
This spectacular 600 sq metre area was once the adult pool, now waterless and just 30 cm deep, the Lido has entered a new era of glamour and romance with unique event possibilities – gala dinners, seminars, product launches and wedding receptions – innovative catering, themeing and enthralling entertainment all available in-house – 350 pax banquet, 550 cocktail.

This uniquely New Zealand dining experience is located in an area half way down our scenic luge track. Situated amongst towering Redwood trees the Skyline Forest Venue is the venue to wow your guests. Accessed by luge, or the scenic walking track this is a fabulous venue for lunch or dinner — where else in the world can you luge to your event. Transport to and from the venue can also be arranged if required.

Rotorua Museum
The historic Bath House building, home to the Rotorua Museum, is an architectural landmark. Situated in the stunning Government Gardens the iconic Bath House is a category I listed heritage building filled with ambience and charm, perfect for any function. This unique venue can host an intimate dinner of 10, up to grand cocktail functions for 300.
Te Runanga Tea House
Dating back to 1903, Te Runanga Tea House is one of Rotorua’s most nostalgic venues. Located within the heart of the picturesque Government Gardens and adjacent to Rotorua city centre, Te Runanga (The Meeting House) combines quaint charm with historical character. Built as a tea pavillion in 1903, Te Runanga served as a social centre for spa facilities where visitors could relax early last century. Its location, mid-way between the Rotorua Convention Centre and the Energy Events Centre, makes is great for an extra breakout room. Combined with its charm and character, the position of the Tea House means the venue attracts many smaller conference and incentive groups seeking something extra special.
