Two new restaurants the start of significant refurbishments at Grand Millennium Auckland

The opening of two new dining venues – Ember and The Aviary – at Grand Millennium Auckland heralds the start of an exciting chapter for the hotel as it embarks on a significant $30 million makeover across food and beverage venues, meeting and events spaces and guest rooms.

Hospitality design studio, Izzard Design has transformed the 144-seat restaurant, Ember, into a relaxed and approachable bistro which offers the option of booking an exclusive space for groups.

From sipping morning macchiatos to espresso martinis by night, The AviaryCocktail Bar in the grand atrium is a relaxed place to grab a drink whether flying solo or flocking together.  
As well as creative cocktails, craic, Guinness on tap, and Irish dessert style cocktails are concocted by The Aviary’s Irish bartender, Thomas Shortt.
